About the Author
�ngeles Mastretta. Naci� en Puebla en 1949. Se gradu� en Periodismo por la Facultad de Ciencias Pol�ticas y Sociales de la UNAM. En 1985, public� su primera novela, Arr�ncame la vida, que obtuvo el Premio Mazatl�n en M�xico y se convirti� en un verdadero fen�meno de cr�tica y ventas, tanto en el mundo de habla hispana como en otros pa�ses, puesto que fue traducida a quince idiomas. Ha publicado tambi�n los libros Mujeres de ojos grandes (1990), Puerto libre (1994), Mal de amores (Premio R�mulo Gallegos 1997), El mundo iluminado (1998), Ninguna eternidad como la m�a (1999), El cielo de los leones (2003), Maridos (2007) y La emoci�n de las cosas (2013).

The book is well written, I didn't understand a few words because the writer is Mexican and they have different names other than the ones that I recognize, but I recommend it.
