She received her BA in Psychology/Sociology from Wesleyan University, her MBA in Finance from New York University, and her PhD in Management and Organizational Behavior from New York University.
Gareth Jones is a Professor of Management in the Lowry Mays College and Graduate School of Business at Texas A&M University. He received both his BA and PhD from the University of Lancaster, UK

What a waste

This is one of the biggest rip-offs I've ever seen. The material is elementary. The authors include nothing thought-provoking. It's just an amalgamation of definitions and examples that don't challenge the brain. The material is pretty much the same as the 6th and 7th editions. I cannot recommend against this textbook highly enough.
If you need this for a college-level course, inquire about whether a previous edition will suffice. I see no reason to waste so much money on this piece of garbage.

Do not recommend

This text was selected for me by the university administration for a graduate-level overview of managment and leadership. If you are looking for a text that presents material from the perspective of Apple is good and WalMart is bad, this is the book for you. I am looking for another textbook for the next semester.

it's a text book...

Some of the case studies are different than previous edition. chapters are in different places. i tried to use previous editions but ended up renting the newest version to make learning less difficult.
